The Safe Space Sisterhood CIC is a social enterprise launched by Audrey Hall at the Women of the World Festival 2024 at Aviva Studios, with support from Factory International. This initiative addresses a critical gap in the creative industry where Black and brown mature female creatives face multiple barriers including ageism, sexism, and racism.
The SSS serves as:
- A safe and trusted membership support community for ‘mature’ female creatives (particularly those over 35).
- A platform providing affirmation and one-to-one support for female creatives to achieve their artistic aspirations.
- A vehicle working toward parity in the creative arts industry.
